Made mine using the homemade cashew butter recipe with macadamia nuts and baked for 30 minutes in a 9×9 metal pan. I wouldn’t use a 8×8 glass pan as the center might not cook well enough. Better than my regular non vegan blondies recipe.5 stars

Hi Lori, I’m not sure. I haven’t tried that, it might work but it may also seem a bit oily. I’ve experienced this when using coconut oil in cookies instead of vegan butter.

Hi Renee, I think tahini would also work, if seeds are okay. You can omit the macadamias.

They might be a little over-cooked. It can be crumbly if they have over-baked a bit. But if they tasted great then that is the most important thing!

I tried it today, tasted great but felt a bit crumbly to me. I also did your cashew butter recipe! <3

Hi Elle, no I bake them on the normal bake setting, not fan. But even so ovens do differ, so a longer bake time may be appropriate in your oven.

Hi,
I’m wondering if you bake these on fan/convection setting in your oven? I can see them only taking 20 minutes if I used that setting.
Thanks!
